First day in the mountains...SNOW

We are having so much fun at the mountain house. We arrived at 9pm last night after a 12 hour adventure up here. I left my house at 9am and met Emily in Valdosta for lunch with 2 of her kids and we had a great time. Amy then arrived with baby Abby and then we took the rest of the trip up to the house (me, Amy, Abby, Boston, Dallas and Asher) It was a car full! The boys did great on the way up. One funny moment was before I picked up Amy I had looked back and Boston had given Asher his biscuit from breakfast (Asher is still only on baby food). So quickly I had Boston grab it from Asher. Crazy. Boston was a huge help with keeping Asher entertained. When Asher would get upset Boston would stop watching or doing what he was doing and entertain him.

It was great picking up Amy and finally getting to see Abby. Abby and Asher are only 9 days apart! We had a great drive getting to catch up. Once we got North of Atlanta we started seeing snow and getting so excited. But for the last hour we had fog and that was a little scary but finally made it here safe and sound at 9pm. The boys were sooooo excited to be back at the mountain house it was a little hard to get them to sleep but they finally realized when they wake up they get to play in the snow.

Today we mainly played in the snow and had the best time. It was Dallas and Asher's first time to play in the snow (and it's been 2 years for Boston so he really doesn't remember). The were so excited to see the snow so we played all day. But I sure am glad that we don't live anywhere that its cold. It takes me 10 minutes to get everyone dressed and ready to go. Ugh! But it sure has been a blast!!! And little Asher and Abby were so cute in the snow.

The horses were so excited to see the boys again. They came running across the pasture. We fed them apples and carrots. This is a pic of Nena and Dallas feeding them. Both the horses are pregnant. Can't wait to see the babies in the spring.
Boston throwing the snow in the air. YA FOR SNOW!
Papa bought the boys new hot wheels to ride around. They were so excited. They have rode them around all day. Papa is also growing a beard for he first time. We all really like it.
