Valentine's day parties

Boston and Dallas both had their Valentine's Day parties at school today. They each had picked out the valentine's they wanted at the store. Dallas picked Lightening McQueen with pencils and Boston picked Transformers with erasers.

We also made a special gift for their teachers. We cut out hands (from tracing their hands). Then they decorated them and we wrote, "Hands down, you're the best!" We attached both hands to the front and back of some scented hand sanitizer. I thought they turned out very cute. Note for next time would be to use super glue because it was really hard getting them to stick with Elmer's glue.

I also made heart shaped strawberry and chocolate rice krispie treats.
The zoo visited Dallas school for his party and he especially loved seeing the turtle and monkey.

The each came home with bags full of valentines and candy and were so excited about dumping them out on the table and seeing who gave them what valentine. Dallas favorite was a Hot Wheels valentine and he carried it around most of the day.
