I know....you might think that means he can't talk...far from it. He babbles more than most babies. What it does mean is that the little flap that is under his tongue is too short and he can't properly extend his tongue enough. The only reason I knew to even look for this was that my sister in law Gini brought it to my attention. I showed the Dr today and he confirmed that he has a slight tongue tie. Thank goodness we caught it when we did because the process to fix it now is very easy and he'll clip it on Tuesday (if we had waited longer it would require him to be put under and cut and stiches...ugh!)
