A visit to Aunt Margie's

We headed to Aunt Margie's beach house after Sean got off work today. We got there JUST in time for the sunset....and it was BEAUTIFUL! The boys loved running up and down the beach, chasing each other and having a great time. It always feels so nice to visit Aunt Margie!

Boston singing

Today Boston was supposed to sing at Summerville Assisted Living Center with the morning classes at his preschool. He has been singing all the Easter songs for me for weeks and so excited about performing it. But this morning he had a change of heart and there was no turning back. He WAS NOT going to sing! But I went anyway, but still no chance. He did enjoy seeing his other classmate Anthony there but he hid in the back far away from the singing. My mom said I was exactly the same way. In so many ways I see my personality come out in him. It's amazing to see your good and bad traits played out in your children. But at least I can see that this stubbern, I've made up my mind trait, could be used for good things in the future.

All the people there were so nice. We even met this sweet lady who just fell in love with Asher. I would love to go back and bring the boys. I loved visiting with them and they LOVED seeing the boys and their youth. What a beautiful Assisted Living Center it was!

Afterward I shopped for some Easter clothes for the boys. We met Anthony and his mom at Chick fil a for lunch and had a great time!

Decorating Easter Eggs

Tonight we decorated Easter Eggs. Years ago, because eggs made people think of new life, they were brought to the table colored red for Easter joy. Eggs are a symbolism of our new life in Christ. So bring on the eggs!!! We had a blast and colored 3 dozen eggs. Looking forward to our egg hunt!
This was Dallas first year coloring eggs!!
All over my hands mom!

Easter Bunny Pics

I took the boys to see the Easter Bunny today. After our experience with Santa this year I decided not to even try to get the big boys in it. Just Asher's 1st time with Easter bunny. The boys stood at a good distance from the bunny, even after the lady bribbed them with coloring books, they were NOT interested in getting anywhere near him. But Asher did great. He sat in his lap for a long time while we tried to get the perfect picture (there wasn't anyone else there). It came out great! (I didn't take the time to scan it, this is just a pic of the pic-not as great)
Then the Easter Bunny headed to our favorite place Auntie Annies. Boston and Dallas thought this was really funny that the Easter Bunny liked pretzels as much as they do. Then he was hanging out in front of Hallmark and the lady told me to wheel the boys over and snap their pic with him behind. It worked! So here the boys with the Easter Bunny...well...sort of!!

Jess, Erica & me + our 8 kids!

I drove to Ft Pierce for the day to meet up with Erica and Jessica (collage best friends and roommates) Between the 3 of us we have 8 kids now! Erica lives in PN but was in her hometown for a funeral. So Jess and I drove to meet her. What a great time we had. 8 kids all under the age of 6, and they sure had a blast together. Of course, its not exactly like it used to be, sitting around talking, it was more like chasing and entertaining now. Playdough, storytime, coloring, games, hide and seek, tag. Oh the fun they had. And it was just great getting to see my girls. 8 years ago we were just finishing up 4 years together in collage. 4 great and fun years in Theatre living, eating, rehearing, auditioning, studing, memorizing and dating. And now here we are all married to wonderful men with beautiful growing families. God is so good!

Sanford Zoo

Today my mother-in-law Pat took me and the boys to the Sanford Zoo. Amazingly I've lived in Florida most my life and I've never been. We had a great time. First and last we road the train. This was their favorite part of course. The boys ran everywhere and looked at everything. They got to pet a snake and bearded dragon and feed llamas, goats, turkeys and more. We had a fun lunch and then Boston played in the splash pad. What a fun day! Tonight Wes and Suzanne came by and I had the boys in bed and they ran out and Boston jumped in Wes' arms and said, "We went to the ZOO TODAY!" Then the both told them all the animals they saw and especially about riding the train. Thanks so much Pat for taking us!!!

Fun with the Stitelers!

At 3:30 today we headed over to the new park in Dr Philips with Teresa, Kaitlyn and JT. First we went to the splash pad and Boston was really the only one that enjoyed it. Dallas finally ran threw but wasn't too thrilled about getting wet today. The wind was very strong there. Poor JT fell down soon after we got there and got all scraped up.

Boston and JT shooting each other with water guns
Dallas having fun for a little while. Boston was thrilled he was joining him.
Asher enjoyed watched and wanted soooo badly to get out there. Only a few more months! Then we went to the playground and even though there were a lot of people there it was a lot of fun. There were people flying kites, grilling out, having b-day parties. It was very festive. The kids LOVED climbing and running around.

Boston found a nice place to take a short breakAfterward we headed to Panera Bread for dinner. It's been great with both our husbands out of town at the same time. We have really enjoyed dinners together and less work on us alone. Its made this time VERY fun! And the kids just love playing together.
