Racing boats

Each year for Christmas my parents get Sean and Wes some kind of fun toy. A few Christmas' ago they bought them motorized boats and they pulled them out again and our little boys had such a great time. Boston did great at controlling it. It was fun to watch our boys race with them, especially since they got the boats long ago before we had kids. There's so much joy that comes through a child.

Christmas cookies with Dallas

I brought all kinds of Christmas sprinkles, icing and cookie cutters to make cookies with the boys. As we started making the dough Boston got a little distracted at the site of playing on the beach and ran off to run around. But Dallas stuck in, probably with just the thought of eating the dough...which he ate plenty of!!! And he wanted me to eat just as much as him but I was getting sick of it fast. Don't get me wrong, I love cookie dough, but not nessasarly sugar cookie dough. Ugh...the after taste! But we had such a blast cutting out the shapes and decorating them. It was some great one on one time with Dallas, which he cherishes. He just smiled the whole time!

Asher's 1st Christmas

It's Asher's 1st Christmas and he's having so much fun enjoying the lights and all the excitement and attention. While out here at the lakehouse he's got all kinds of people, my parents and Wes and Suzanne. There's nothing like a little baby at Christmas to bring even more Joy! His smile in these photos captures it all. He can just melt your heart.

Boston's Advent Star

One Dec 1st Boston brought home this advent star from school to cut off one ring each day until Christmas. He has had so much fun doing this all month long and I thought I would post a photo of it. I had all intention of doing a advent one with hershey kisses, even bought the kisses, but never got around to it this year. Next year.....

Tunafish Dallas

Dallas loves tunafish....I mean LOVES tunafish. Just put a little mayo and some pickle relish and celery in it and he will eat the entire can. And he doesn't even eat it in a sandwich (although he finally did for the first time earlier this week). He will just dig in with his spoon and sometimes crackers. The funniest part is that he requests it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. At least its healthy! This is a photo of him yesterday at lunch happy as can be with his big bowl of tunafish!

Asher's 1st time sitting in bath

Tonight I gave Asher a bath in the big tub and he had a great time. It was the first time for him sitting up in the tub without his own little tub. It was just sooo adorable.

Florida Snowman

We were playing on my parents beach at their lakehouse today and Dallas and I decided to make a snowman out of the needles from the tree. It was a lot of fun and the closest we will get to a snowman in Florida. The boys saw the movie "Frosty the Snowman for the first time the other day so we sang the song as we made him.

Boston enjoyed playing with Roxie as we did this. He and Roxie were having their own fun digging holes together and playing catch. Boy does he love her. He considers her his own dog and has asked me before to ask Nena to let her live at our house and she can go to the pet store and get a new dog. I know someday in the future we look forward to having our own dog.

Baldwins Visit!!!

My best friend from college Jessica came in last night at 1am to stay the night as she is driving to Texas for Christmas with her husband and their 3 kids. The boys were so excited when they woke up this morning to find Bonnie and Barrett here. They played around all morning until they had to leave for their long drive. It was so wonderful to get to spend time with them, especially since Bart is usually on a job when they come to visit so we don't ususally get to see him. We only wish they lived in the same town so we could get together all the time! What great friends they are!! Looking forward to our next visit together with all 6 of our kids...LOL

Asher was excited to finally meet Bonnie and he just loved looking at her

Sean's family over for Christmas

Sean's family came over tonight to celebrate Christmas. His Grandma Dorothy is in town from Rochester, NY. We had a great time spending time together. The boys loved playing with their cousin Ellie as well.

Marching band through the house. Boston thought this was the best thing ever! He laughed and laughed so hard!

For Christmas Dale and Pat bought the boys this get mock door that fit inbetween the door to their room with a door bell, mail slot and more. They love it. Of course, the box posed for even more fun! Here's a pic of Ellie and Boston in it right after Dallas had crawled out.

Boston's school Christmas Party

Entrance to Boston's room

For Boston's Christmas party they had a slumber party. Everyone had to dress in their pajamas and bring a pillow and blanket. They got to play games, had a pinyta, watched a movie, sang songs, and exchanged gifts. He had such a great time and was so excited about all the candy he got. And he loved the truck he got as well. He wore his pirate pajamas with pirate slippers that Nena bought him. He looked so cute!
