Today my baby girl turned 6 months old. Where does the time go? She rolling over everywhere and scooting around as much a possible. She's doing much better trying to sit up on her own so I don't think that will be much longer. The last two nights she's woken up at 3 in the morning to eat (she usually sleeps at least 13 hours straight). It's a tell tell sign in our house that she's ready for baby food. I'm not sure if mommy is ready for that yet. Her brothers are so completely in love with her. Asher won't leave her side, Dallas says when he grows up he's going to marry her, and Boston protects her and entertains her every moment he can get. She couldn't be more blessed to have such wonderful big brothers!
She's still the best baby, hardly ever crying unless she hungry. She's constantly trying to get her fingers or her entire fist into her mouth which is entertaining to watch. Recently she figured out where the tv was and whenever the boys are watching something or playing a game she's turning her head to watch.
It's super cute to see her light up when Daddy comes home, which melts my heart. I've always wished for Sean to get to know the feeling of having a little girl and it's going to be fun to watch their relationship as she grows. I think she already has daddy wrapped around her little finger. When it's time for her to go to bed he's usually trying to just let her lay down next to him on the couch.
Mama doesn't let her leave the house unless there is a bow in her hair and she's got on something totally cute. And can you blame me after a sea of blue, trucks, dinosaurs and race cars. Ahhhh, the sweet breeze of pink and purple with lace and bows and sweet twirly dresses!
Her little rolls on her legs are oh so squishy that everyone wants to grab them. And her face is oh so kissable. Her hair is getting thicker and longer. The verdict is still out on if it will be curly like her mama and big brothers.
I'm so blessed to have such a precious little girl and each day I thank God for her!
