Sea World's Halloween Spooktacular

Today we went to Sea World's Spooktacular Halloween Celebration with our friends Chuck and Mindy and their two sons TJ and Tyler. We had such a blast! Thanks again for inviting us!! The boys had a great time trick or treating. Dallas is still talking about riding the rollercoaster with TJ. It was both of their first time, well not Dallas first time on a rollercoaster but for this one. He's ready to go again tomorrow. Our boys weren't so into all the different sea characters around but mommy did get a picture with a Cricket person! We even got to see the Animals show and that was a hit. Even Asher was moving all around and bouncing. We can't wait to go back again soon!

We are in training mode with little Dallas. Yes it's that 2-3 year old stage that requires much discipline on the part of the parent to be consistent and strong with their child rearing skills. And it's in these years that you wonder when they will finally "get it." And for one precious moment today Dallas actually "got it." I asked Dallas to go in their room and put the toys away and for Boston to go in the train room and put the toys away. Dallas went right into the room and began putting all the toys away. MIRACLE!!!!!! He actually HEARD my voice, OBEYED it, and JOYFULLY reacted. That you God for showing me the light at the end of this ever so narrow tunnel I'm sometimes in.

Dallas feeds Asher

I was cooking dinner tonight and feeding Asher while I was doing it. Yes I'm definatly a multi- tasker. You have to be with 3 kids. But I do usually sit down and feed Asher while we are eating but tonight things were running a little off schedule so we just had to go with the flow. As I was finishing up the salads Asher was crying a little for me to come back and finish feeding him and before I could turn around Dallas had come, gotten a baby spoon from the drawer, and was feeding him ever so gently. It was so adorable! And yes....it's even better to have little helpers!!! I love my boys. I love the fact that they are so in tune to each other, that they look out for each other, and that they love each other in the biggest way!

Rainbow Oatmeal Saturdays

I have a new tradition with the boys. On Saturday mornings we have oatmeal with sprinkles on top. You would think they were eating ice cream for breakfast with their reactions. We've been doing it for several weeks now and they are starting to remember when Saturday comes now. So cute! I make the Old Fashions Rolled Oats and they usually eat it with either just blueberries or with cinnimon and raisons. They will even eat it plain. Me...well I have to have sugar or something in mine. My tastebuds sure aren't used to the plain stuff!

Nena's Birthday

Today was my mom's birthday. We met her and my dad at the mall for lunch and shopping.
We had a great time! For dinner mom, dad and Wes joined us at our house for pizza and chocolate chip cookie b-day cake that the boys picked out. They picked out a Tigger cake...this was better than the one they originally wanted....a haunted house one. The ones they had to view were all Halloween and we couldn't get them past those. Boston wore his Peter Pan costume to welcome everyone over. I think he's worn it everyday since it came in the mail. He loves it so much I think he might just become Peter Pan. (He already looks so much like him to me.) I think the costume itself will be so worn in by the time Halloween actually gets here. Dallas on the other hand could care less about "wearing" his costume...he just wants the hook and sword for Captain Hook. Of course this is the first year Boston has actually wanted to wear his costume...all with age. And speaking of age....mom looks great for her age and the boys sure did love singing Happy Birthday and helping her blow out the candles....about 5 times! Happy Birthday mom!

Boston the new Peter Pan

Today the "Big Brown Truck" otherwise known as The UPS Truck came. We ordered Boston's Peter Pan suit online at the Disney Store last week after mommy realized it was cheaper to just order it from them then chase around town finding a pattern, fabric and sewing it. Everyday the "brown truck" comes he waits to see if it's his costume. He usually comes when we are playing outside in the front yard after school. So today when it came oh the excitement. He tore it open and put it on right away, grinning ear to ear. He just stood in front of the mirror checking everything out. He noticed every little detail of the costume. He's counting down the days until Halloween when he gets to wear it to school for his party but also to the Fall Festival at our church.

I also just went ahead and bought Dallas's pirate costume. He decided he wants to be Captain Hook but he wants to wear a more simple pirate costume instead of the ornate Captain Hook one. But he could care less about putting it on at the moment. the sword is more important.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today with some of our friends and had a great time. Going to the pumpkin patch has been a tradition since we had Boston and I just love it. Just seeing that many pumpkins together is a beautiful sight. The boys loved running all around with their friends and playing follow the leader. I don't think Ella left Boston's side. LOL I tried to get a picture of all three boys together but the only one that actually worked was the pumpkin heads one. They did pick out little pumpkins to bring home and decorate and we will get some big ones as well for Daddy to cut for us. Ya for Fall!!! And I highly recommend this pumpkin patch. Asher is 5 months old

He wore is first pair of shoes on Friday because it was a little bit colder outside when we left for our MOPs group. I hadn't put shoes on him because its so hot all the time, and honestly who has time to when I have three to get dressed. LOL I do think he's probably a lot more comfortable without them. :-) But boy were they cute!

Magic Kingdom

Halloween at Magic Kingdom

We took the boys to Magic Kingdom this evening after Sean's meeting. We got to see Peter Pan twice...big deal for us right now! And we even stayed for the SpectoMagic parade and fireworks. Even though I've done that parade over a 100 times it never gets tiring watching it! Dallas even got to see Buzz Lightyear....this was a huge highlight this trip! Boston's not too big on getting close to the characters. As Dallas was standing in line he was jumping up and down with excitement!!

Asher and Mommy

Daddy and the boys actually wearing their sunglasses, they always like them but never seem to wear them. They were watching the piano man that is always there. Same guy that I remember being their forever. Sean loves him! Here's Dallas with Buzz Lightyear. He asked him if he could push his buttons and he was jumping up and down with excitement. He didn't want to leave him, he was just in awe.
